2013 Dodge Hornet Spy Photos

2013 Dodge Hornet
Dodge has been planning to replace the small compact Caliber with something new. This might be the pictures of a two part feature. The Dodge Dart already having stolen much of the spotlight perhaps what you see here might be the second part feature, the 2013 Dodge Hornet? In 2006, Road & Track highlighted Dodge's debut of the chunky-looking 2006 concept car. It is also speculated that a Chrysler variant is to be expected from the new Fiat leadership. This will most likely be the "Chrysler 100" (as seen below):

Sibling Rivalry!

Moreover, Dodge's prior Hornet attempts with other variants have accentuated a more station wagonness*ness & sported Giulietta LED headlights. The variant sedan will take on a redefined identity with other changes as well in the rear door handles being tucked into it's C-pillars. New headlight shape & changes in door handles will make this Fiat child much more than its' successful European Giulietta's design.
A character line along the side of the vehicle buzzes sleek & showcases the car's sportiness & go factor. Unlike it's older & frumpier Caliber sibling, it will present a more handsome multi-spoke alloy bringing out the appropriate Italian bravado dash. Furthermore, the downsized cross-hair grille being visible is less aggressive & more refined compared to it's cmmmtheviperandeverthingv8mmm bold designs. Nonetheless, we are excited about the limitless possibilities from Dodge.
For more performance and economy speculation, see the latest post on our blog entitled "2013 Dodge Dart" the platform will most likely fit into a similar groove as it's sibling. There will most likely be a Hornet SRT4 platform with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmissions. We're very excited what Fiat decides to do especially if they also decide to offer a more European twist with a diesel engine later on. We look forward to more of these bold, new possibilities from Dodge!
